Zona de Azar Spain – SELAE Awards the Communication for the Christmas Draws for €6.6 Million

Spain, 22nd August 2024 www.zonadeazar.com The Sociedad Estatal Loterías y Apuestas del Estado (SELAE) awarded on August 20th the contract for the comprehensive service of creativity, communication, and advertising for the Extraordinary Christmas® and El Niño® Lottery Draws of the National Lottery.

The contract, valued at €6.6 million, was awarded to the agency PROXIMITY MADRID – AGENCIA DE COMUNICACION, S.L.

This contract includes both the creativity and the production of advertising campaigns for the draws, which are essential for promoting the most prominent events of the year. SELAE, aiming to strengthen the image of its brands and increase sales, has decided to separate these services from those related to the purchase of advertising spaces to optimize the specialization and efficiency of each task.

It is noteworthy that the entities CONTRAPUNTO BBDO (which also participated in the bidding) and PROXIMITY MADRID – AGENCIA DE COMUNICACION belong to the same business group.
