Zona de Azar USA – Las Vegas Strengthens Relations with Formula 1 and Becomes a Partner

USA.- August 1, 2024 www.zonadeazar.com  The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) announced a partnership with Formula 1. With the agreement, the body that sponsors the Las Vegas GP will have the brand displayed in several races during the season.

The LVCVA is the official destination marketing organization of Las Vegas, promoting tourism, conventions, meetings and events in the city. The agreement with F1 is valid for 18 months, until the end of 2025.

“In recent years, Las Vegas has moved forward to become the sports and entertainment capital of the world, and partnering with the world’s premier motorsports organization to host the Las Vegas Grand Prix marked an important milestone in that effort,” said Steve Hill, president of the LVCVA.

“We look forward to working closely with F1 through this new partnership,” he added.

The agreement will also allow the LVCVA to promote activations at selected races on the F1 calendar. The category also has as partners brands such as Rolex, Pirelli, Aramco, Heineken, DHL, Qatar Airways, AWS, Crypto, MSC and Salesforce.

The authority’s contributions to F1 in Las Vegas also include US$4 million for hospitality. Still, the presence of the category has generated a positive economic impact, valued at almost US$1.5 billion in 2023.

According to data released by the LCVCA, the first edition of the Las Vegas GP was the biggest sporting event in the city’s history, with an audience of 316 thousand people and 145 thousand unique visitors.

The second edition of the Las Vegas F1 GP will be held between the 21st and 23rd of November.
