USA.- April 24th 2019 www.zonadeazar.com As an Indiana gambling bill nears completion, a conference committee has added provisions for online sports betting apps.
A group of legislators met on Monday to put the finishing touches on a gambling expansion bill to regulate sports betting within the state.
Consideration for mobile had been removed earlier in the process but returned with Senator Mark Messmer, the billās sponsor, saying sports betting will be available to players anywhere within the stateās borders.
It is not yet clear if remote registration will be possible.
Adjustments to casino licensing and locations were two of the subjects debated at the hearing, with disagreements coming from the two chambers.

The House must approve measures as the bill would affect state revenue in Indiana.
A 2017 Oxford Economics study commissioned by the American Gaming Association projected that the stateās handle would double should mobile betting be allowed.
It predicted $3bn in annual wagers without mobile and $6.5bn with. Both figures are based on a 10% tax rate, while Indianaās bill calls for 9.5%.
