Blaze Invested R$330 Million in Brazilian Advertising
Brazil.- 17 July 2026 www.zonadeazar.com A financial statement obtained by Folha de S.Paulo indicates that Blaze invested R$330 million in advertising between January and November 2025, including agreements with companies linked to Virginia Fonseca, Jon Vlogs and Renato Garcia.
The document reveals the scale of the online betting and casino platform’s advertising strategy in the Brazilian market.
During the period, Blaze reportedly generated gross revenue of R$1.9 billion in Brazil, while player deposits totalled approximately R$11 billion.
Influencer agreements
According to the statement, Blaze had contractual commitments of R$6.4 million with VF Digital, a Goiânia-based company linked to Virginia Fonseca.
Of this amount, R$2.77 million had already been paid, with approximately R$3.6 million remaining outstanding.
Contractual obligations involving Jon Vlogs totalled R$2.8 million, while commitments relating to content creator Renato Garcia reached R$5.3 million.
Civil action over advertising
Blaze and Virginia Fonseca are defendants in a public civil action brought by the Federal District and Territories Public Prosecutor’s Office, which alleges abusive practices and misleading advertising.
The case is being handled by the First Consumer Protection Prosecutor’s Office and seeks R$120 million in damages.
One of the incidents under examination concerns a post published by Virginia during the 2026 World Cup. Prosecutors claim that the post promoted a bet without clearly identifying it as advertising content.
Blaze’s response
Blaze said it had not yet been formally served in connection with the proceedings and stated that its influencer partnerships comply with Brazilian legislation and regulations.
The company added that it does not discuss contractual terms or amounts for reasons of commercial confidentiality. Virginia Fonseca had not commented on the proceedings when the information was published.
The allegations remain subject to judicial review and do not constitute a final finding of liability against either party.
