IWG Launches Daily Streak to Boost Digital Lottery Player Loyalty

The technology rewards participation on consecutive days through a progressive benefits system, introducing additional gamification elements into online lottery games.
Announced on 20 October 2026, the feature is already live with two North American lotteries, with three additional launches planned before the end of the month.
How Does Daily Streak Work?
The new feature introduces a progression mechanic based on consecutive daily participation.
When a player enters an eligible game for the first time each day, an interactive reward wheel determines a randomly assigned benefit.
Its main features include:
- Daily rewards: benefits allocated through an interactive wheel.
- Consecutive participation: players retain or improve their benefits by returning on successive days.

Rollout Across Five North American Lotteries
Daily Streak is already available through two lottery organisations:

- Pennsylvania Lottery (United States): implemented the mechanic in Next Level Loot.
Three additional lotteries are preparing to introduce the technology before the end of October:
- Kentucky Lottery: through Daily Streak Boost.
- Virginia Lottery: with Daily Streak Expander.
- New Hampshire Lottery: also using Daily Streak Expander.
The expansion highlights increasing interest among lottery operators in tools designed to strengthen digital engagement.
New Gamification Mechanics
One implementation of the technology is Daily Streak Expander, which introduces an initial 3×5 game board.
As players progress through the daily wheel mechanic, the board can expand, unlocking additional prize opportunities and bonus experiences.
The system is designed to provide visible progression while preserving the underlying structure of instant-win lottery games.
Jason Lisiecki, Executive Vice President at IWG, highlighted Daily Streak as a new way for lotteries to reward consecutive daily participation.
He also emphasised the company’s plans to explore further applications of the technology across its wider games portfolio.

IWG will continue introducing Daily Streak across additional lotteries during October 2026, strengthening its presence in the North American market.
