ACT Partnered with Football Federation in Brazil

The agreement includes the implementation of monitoring and educational programmes aimed at protecting competitions and athletes through the use of real-time monitoring technology and specialised analytical tools developed by the company.
The regional football federation, affiliated with the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), will work alongside ACT to assess the needs of leagues operating within Brazil’s emerging regulated betting market.
As part of the initiative, ACT will conduct an operational review of the current competitive landscape and develop educational programmes tailored to the Brazilian sports sector. The company stated that its team includes specialists with international experience in sports leadership, integrity, and match-fixing investigations.
The company will also deploy its proprietary online monitoring platform, described as an independent technology solution separate from betting operators and trading services, designed to identify suspicious integrity-related activity.
The partnership comes at a time of transformation for Brazil’s betting market, driven by national regulation and increasing discussions around match-fixing prevention and the protection of sporting competitions.
ACT representatives stated that Brazilian football is entering a new phase following the legalisation of sports betting, highlighting the importance of combining education and technology to preserve the credibility of the sport.
Meanwhile, officials from the Federação Norte-rio-grandense de Futebol said the agreement aims to strengthen athlete awareness and contribute to the long-term integrity and sustainability of Brazilian football.
