During the third quarter, the division generated €256 million in revenue, also representing a 13% increase compared with the equivalent period in 2025.
The company attributed this performance to growth in Italy’s regulated online market and improvements in its competitive position.

- Total online gambling: 31.7%, up 0.9 percentage points.

This represented a 2% decrease compared with the corresponding period in 2025.
Third-quarter revenue reached €180 million, also down 2%.
The results reflect more moderate performance in land-based operations compared with the expansion of the digital business.
Adjusted EBITDA Increases 8%
Lottomatica recorded improved operational profitability during the first nine months of 2026.
Adjusted EBITDA reached €665 million, representing year-on-year growth of 8%.
During the third quarter, adjusted EBITDA increased by 3% to €200 million.

Guglielmo Angelozzi Highlights Performance
Guglielmo Angelozzi, Chairman and CEO of Lottomatica Group, welcomed the company’s third-quarter performance.
He highlighted double-digit growth in online and sports betting volumes, alongside improved adjusted EBITDA on a normalised payout basis.
Angelozzi also described the announced transaction with CIRSA as an important strategic milestone that would increase the group’s scale and future growth opportunities.
The executive expressed confidence in Lottomatica’s growth trajectory, supported by favourable market conditions, continued strategy execution and strong cash generation.
CIRSA Combination Shapes the Group’s Strategy
One of Lottomatica’s principal corporate developments is its proposed combination with CIRSA, a major Spanish land-based and online gambling operator.
The transaction aims to create a larger international gaming group with a diversified product portfolio.
The combination would bring together both companies’ technological and commercial capabilities.
The proposed deal remains subject to the relevant corporate and regulatory approvals.
Industry Impact and Next Steps
The third-quarter results demonstrate the increasing importance of digital operations within Lottomatica’s business.
While land-based segments recorded modest revenue declines, online gaming maintained double-digit growth and increased its share of the Italian market.
With quarterly revenue of €537 million, online growth of 13% and nine-month adjusted EBITDA of €665 million, Lottomatica is strengthening its position in Italy while advancing towards its proposed combination with CIRSA.
The company will continue focusing on digital expansion, operating profitability and its wider corporate strategy.
