The performance was supported by the final stages of the FIFA World Cup, new partner launches and favourable foreign exchange movements.
The company also recorded a 161% increase in adjusted EBITA, reaching €7.9 million, and updated its full-year profitability guidance.
Third-Quarter Financial Performance
Between July and September 2026, Kambi reported:
- Revenue: €46 million, up 23%.
- Gross profit: €37.2 million, an increase of 16%.
- Adjusted EBITA: €7.9 million, up 161%.
- Operating profit: €5.1 million, an increase of 214%.
- Net profit: €3.4 million, up 240%.
The adjusted EBITA margin reached 17.3%, compared with 8.2% during the corresponding period in 2025.
The figures demonstrate a significant improvement in operating profitability.
FIFA World Cup Drives Revenue Growth
The 2026 FIFA World Cup, which concluded in mid-July, was one of the main contributors to Kambi’s growth.
The tournament generated strong betting activity during the opening weeks of the quarter.
However, it also resulted in €4.2 million in additional sports data costs.
Kambi explained that these expenses were passed on to operator partners, meaning they did not directly affect profitability, although they reduced the gross margin.
During August and September, sporting results favourable to customers partially limited betting turnover growth.
Regulated Markets Account for 98.5% of Turnover
Kambi highlighted that 98.5% of sportsbook turnover across its network originated from regulated markets.
The geographic breakdown for the quarter was:
- Americas: 59.9% of total turnover, with year-on-year growth of 6.7%.
- Europe: 36.4% of turnover, down 3.1%.
- Rest of the world: 3.7%.
The figures demonstrate the importance of the Americas to Kambi’s international business.
The company continues expanding its operations across regulated jurisdictions.
New Partnerships Support International Expansion
Quarterly growth was also supported by launches with new commercial partners.
Notable developments included:
- Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) in Canada.
- PMU, the French horse racing betting operator.
- Station Casinos, through a ten-year agreement covering sportsbook technology and player account management in Nevada.
Kambi also expanded its partner network through agreements with Pure Casino Entertainment, QuinnBet and RETABET.
These partnerships are intended to strengthen the international distribution of its technology.
Artificial Intelligence Becomes a Strategic Priority
During the quarter, Kambi introduced a new corporate identity bringing its sportsbook, artificial intelligence, front-end and esports solutions together under a single brand.
The restructuring aims to simplify operations and improve technological integration.
The company particularly highlighted the continued development of its proprietary AI-powered trading system.
The technology uses data from Kambi’s international network to improve operational efficiency, odds management and the customer experience.
Kambi intends to extend these capabilities across additional sports.
Werner Becher Highlights Continued Progress
Werner Becher, CEO of Kambi Group, welcomed the company’s continued growth and improving profitability.
He explained that the corporate restructuring provides a more agile organisation capable of making better use of its technology network.
According to Becher, revenue growth, cost discipline and favourable foreign exchange movements all contributed to the quarterly performance.
He also highlighted new partnerships and product innovation as important foundations for sustainable long-term growth.
Nine-Month Revenue Reaches €135.4 Million
During the first nine months of 2026, Kambi reported:
- Revenue: €135.4 million, up 13.5% year-on-year.
- Adjusted EBITA: €21.2 million, an increase of 106%.
- Operating profit: €15.2 million, compared with €4 million in 2025.
- Net profit: €9.1 million, up 340%.
The figures reflect improved revenue and profitability across the year.
Kambi highlighted that the expansion was accompanied by continued control of operating expenses.
Kambi Updates Its 2026 Financial Outlook
Following the positive third-quarter results, Kambi revised its profitability expectations for the full year.
The company now expects adjusted EBITA of approximately €26 million in 2026.
Its previous guidance ranged from €23 million to €27 million.
The update raises the midpoint of the earlier forecast and provides a narrower estimate for the remainder of the year.
Industry Impact and Next Steps
The third-quarter results reinforce Kambi’s improving profitability and the importance of its international operator network.
The FIFA World Cup, commercial expansion and technological developments were the principal drivers of growth.
With quarterly revenue of €46 million, a 161% increase in adjusted EBITA and new partnerships across regulated markets, Kambi is strengthening its position as an international sports betting technology provider.
The company will continue focusing on artificial intelligence, expanding its partner network and delivering its financial objectives for 2026.
