iGaming Expert: 2024 saw 3 Oaks expand its presence in Brazil, penning several partnerships ahead of the market launch on Jan 1. How crucial was it for you to pen deals with the likes of EstrelaBet and Bet7k to build momentum?

Henrique de Simoni: Signing deals like this is all about timing. Everyone within our business including compliance, legal and labs, as well as our customers have been working tirelessly to make sure that we are ready for 2025. We have to work together to make sure we are fully compliant and ready for the Brazilian market.

These partnerships showcase our commitment to professionalism for all operators, aggregators and platforms. Because of this, EstrelaBet, Bet7K, bet365, Aposta Ganha and others will start using our portfolio with premium games.

iGX: What is the key to ensuring a successful new market entry? What should industry stakeholders keep in mind when they are looking to launch in regulated markets?

HdS: I can affirm that localisation and having someone from within the country of the launch makes the difference. It’s not an easy task to collect all the necessary data from a recently regulated market, we have several nuances that might be not very clear for foreigners and for people that don’t speak the language fluently.

My advice is clear: believe in the knowledge of the people that breathe this industry.

iGX: From a product development perspective, what considerations do you need to make when producing games for the Brazilian market?

HdS: We are receiving a lot of compliments about our games. From my personal point of view, we have premium games that connect pretty well with not only the Brazilian market but throughout LatAm.

This happens because we have our games that contain hot temperatures. This attracts the latinos that are looking for fun and entertainment. Just three examples of games that have proven particularly popular in Brazil are 3 Hot Chillies, Coin Volcano and Lucky Penny.

iGX: How important is it to do research ahead of time to ensure that your products will be well received in new markets such as Brazil?

HdS: It’s absolutely crucial. If you are not planning, designing the strategy and only waiting to ‘’go with the flow’’, I can guarantee to you that your results here in this country will be below any expectations.

Brazil has the volume, the demographics, the passion for iGaming and sportsbook and many several factors that contribute for worldwide companies to come here and explore this almost fertile field. I always say this analogy to my colleagues: If we do not make it, somebody well prepared will take our slice of this ‘’delicious cake’’ and will be glad to celebrate it.

iGX: Brazil is a huge opportunity for operators and suppliers but what makes it such an enticing market for 3 Oaks Gaming? Why are you putting so much emphasis on it?

HdS: Like I have mentioned in the previous question, Brazil has one of the biggest populations in the world and people here are more connected to their mobiles than ever. We have an average of 9.3 hours using our mobiles.

Also, our population is starting to know more about casinos and this type of entertainment.
If you combine all these elements, you will have a voluminous opportunity to generate revenue with consistent levels of growth year after year.

iGX: What other partnerships do you have in Brazil and what is your commercial strategy for this market?

HdS: I am acting as a facilitator to our company, building new partnerships and nurturing the current ones.

We have managed to partner up with the top 20 in the Brazilian iGaming industry. We will have a record breaker in terms of going live this year. I am extremely excited to begin the numbers with major brands. One part was done, now begins the challenge.

We have names like F12, Aposta Ganha, Estrelabet, Bet365, Casa de Apostas and plenty more ready. There are others that are in the integration phase.

But I guarantee to you that whenever you want to have fun, 3 Oaks Gaming will be there. Our strategy is to provide exceptional customer service with a premium product. It’s a win-win situation.

iGX: What can we expect to see from 3 Oaks Gaming in Brazil throughout the rest of 2025 from a commercial and product development perspective?

HdS: You will see us at the top – I am totally confident about this. We are paving the way for the next five years.

We understand and know that our games are phenomenal, however people need to know us more and this will be our focus in 2025. We are working to develop our brand in the region, giving more brand awareness and exposure to cement our name with the players.
