Novibet Becomes Santos’ New Main Sponsor

Brazil – April 4, 2025 – www.zonadeazar.com Santos has reached a commercial agreement with Novibet to become its new main sponsor starting in April, following the conclusion of its previous deal with Blaze.

Novibet sponsored Fortaleza for the past two seasons, parting ways with the Ceará-based team earlier this year.

With this in mind, and aiming to establish itself firmly in the Brazilian betting market, the Greek company has signed a deal with Santos. The main objective is to help Neymar stay until the end of his contract, which runs until June 2025. The agreement will last for two years and is in the final stages of negotiation.

Novibet’s official announcement will take place on April 14, when Santos celebrates its 113th anniversary. Additionally, marketing initiatives will be launched, according to information published by Estadão.

The betting company is expected to invest around R$ 70 million annually in Peixe, with the possibility of increasing the amount to R$ 80 million based on performance-based objectives, including a bonus for Neymar’s stay. Santos sees the change in its main sponsor as a great opportunity to boost its revenue.

The team made its Brasileirão debut last Sunday, playing at home at Vila Belmiro. However, without Neymar, the team ended up losing after a comeback by Vasco da Gama. Neymar is recovering from an injury that sidelined him from the Paulistão semifinals and the Brazilian national team.
