Zona de Azar Brasil – Who Will be the Top Scorer at Copa América 2024?

Brasil.-  June 19, 2024 www.zonadeazar.com On the night of next Thursday, the 20th, the Copa América 2024 will begin, the main tournament between teams from South, Central and North America.

The competition will be held in the United States and will travel through fourteen cities in the Land of Uncle Sam. The premiere will take place in Atlanta, at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, between Argentina and Canada at 9pm Brasília time.

The competition begins with 16 teams divided into 4 groups, with four teams in each of them. In this first stage, the two best placed in the groups will qualify directly for the quarter-finals of the competition. 

After the group stage, the teams will compete in knockout matches until reaching the grand final, which will be played on July 14th at the Hard Rock Stadium, in Florida. Find out how the following groups are divided:

Copa América has several candidates for the top scorer position

And with the start of the competition, one of the points that most interests fans is knowing who will be the competition’s top scorer. In this edition, several players are candidates for top scorer, with emphasis on Argentine Lionel Messi and Uruguayan Darwin Nuñes, who are coming off an incredible season for Inter Miami and Liverpool, respectively.

Running out of contention, we have our star Vinícius Junior, hope of our team and who should also fight for artillery. Vini is going through a magical season, where he is one of the favorites for the best in the world award after winning another La Liga and a Champions League with Real Madrid.
