Malta.- April 11th 2024 www.zonadeazar.com Catena Media, a leading igaming and sports betting marketing company, has announced a key leadership change following a recent management reshuffle prompted by the company’s previous financial performance.

This comes a little over a month after the appointment of their new CEO, Manuel Stan. Michael Gerrow, who joined Catena Media in 2020 and was previously based at their Maltese offices, has been promoted to the role of Group CFO. Gerrow transitioned to Miami to serve as the company’s Vice President of Finance, where he spearheaded the group’s financial planning and analysis function.

Holding a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University in Canada, Gerrow also boasts professional accounting qualifications – CPA (Canada) and ACCA (UK). He is set to assume his new role as Group CFO on April 15th, succeeding Erik Edeen who served as interim CFO since May 2023 following Peter Messner’s departure.

Commenting on the appointment, Catena Media’s Interim CEO, Pierre Cadena, expressed his delight at Gerrow’s promotion. He highlighted Gerrow’s extensive experience and in-depth understanding of the company’s financial operations, making him ideally suited to lead Catena Media’s financial future. Cadena further emphasized that Gerrow’s transition would provide strategic continuity within the executive team, supporting the company as they move forward.

In addition to Gerrow’s promotion, Catena Media also announced the advancement of Edward Midolo to Chief Technology Officer. Midolo, a six-year veteran with the company, previously held the position of Vice President of Systems Technology. He played a crucial role in driving innovation and overseeing the group’s technological operations and central technology infrastructure.
