Zona de Azar Brazil – Brazil: Taxation of “Bets” Abroad is a Challenge

Brazil.- September 6, 2024 www.zonadeazar.com The special secretary of the Federal Revenue of Brazil, Robson Barreirinhas, stated on Wednesday (4) to the Parliamentary Inquiry Commission on Sports Betting that the control over the taxation of betting companies will be intensified starting in January.

According to him, the taxation of betting companies headquartered abroad but with a strong presence in Brazil remains a challenge.
