Zona de Azar USA – Caesars Online Casino NJ Completes its Rebrand to Tropicana Casino

USA.- March 30th 2023 www.zonadeazar.com Better late than never, they say. Caesars Interactive finally completed its rebrand. Their iGaming sites are now under the Tropicana umbrella, after merging the two NJ online casinos on March 28.

Caesars Casino played second fiddle to the primary site, Caesars Sportsbook NJ. The move comes nearly a year after its initial announcement last April.

In June, Caesars Casino switched platforms in preparation for the move to Tropicana. Nine months passed with the two sites operating separately, but now they are one.

Keep reading to see what changes to expect from the rebranding, whether you’re a current Caesars or Tropicana patron.

What will change from CaesarsCasino.com to TropicanaCasino.com?
In short, not a lot.

The rebrand happened because Caesars does not need two casinos of the same name under its umbrella. Tropicana Online Casino has been a part of the Caesars family since 2018, and the rebranding presents an opportunity to strengthen its brand.

As such, players at both casinos were already earning Caesars Rewards points with their play. Tropicana players can continue as they always have without experiencing any changes.

CaesarsCasino.com players will need to download the Tropicana app in order to play. From there, they can log in and resume as usual. All player login information, funds, rewards points, etc. will be transferred to ensure a seamless transition.

Tropicana online players can utilize retail cashiers at two AC casinos
Before rebranding, CaesarsCasino.com players could make deposits and withdrawals to their online account via the Caesars Palace Atlantic City cage.

Now, Tropicana Online Casino players will have two options for cashier transactions at AC casinos. Caesars Palace and Tropicana Atlantic City will facilitate deposits and withdrawals for the online casino app.

Any players who self-excluded on either site before merging will remain excluded via state-wide provisions.

How much will the rebrand impact Caesars’ revenue?
Under state law, each land-based casino may operate up to five online casino skins. Before the rebranding, Caesars’ sites were:

Caesars Sportsbook and Casino
CaesarsCasino.com
888 Casino
Harrah’s Online Casino
WynnBet
Tropicana Casino operates via its own licensee, which also included Virgin Casino until last year. Now, Tropicana is a solo operator with a chance to come under the Caesars licensee, just like its sister casino Harrah’s Atlantic City.

Should this occur, Caesars will increase its revenue by about 50% simply by merging the brands.

Through February, Caesars and Tropicana were fourth and fifth in NJ online casino revenue with $16.6 million and $14.5 million, respectively. On average, the two licensees produced about $15 million per month, less than half of the three top operators in the state (Borgata, Golden Nugget and Resorts).

Even if Caesars can grow the Tropicana brand significantly, it will remain fourth by a wide margin.
