Coljuegos Grants Online Licence to Mr Yoker
UK.– May 28, 2026 – www.zonadeazar.com Coljuegos has officially authorised Mr Yoker as a new legal online betting operator in Colombia, increasing the total number of licensed platforms in the regulated market to fifteen. The licence was granted through concession contract C2261 of 2026, allowing the brand to operate sports betting, live casino and virtual slot products under state supervision.
The commercial operation of the platform will be managed by Global Vitxo S.A.S., which received an initial operating licence valid until 2031.
Details / Context
With this approval, Colombia continues strengthening one of Latin America’s most established online gaming regulatory ecosystems. According to Coljuegos, the arrival of new operators forms part of the broader strategy aimed at expanding and modernising the country’s digital gaming industry.
Financial projections submitted by the company estimate that Mr Yoker could generate nearly COP$2.83tn in revenue during its first five years of operation. In addition, the operator is expected to contribute around COP$27.282bn in monopoly revenues and administrative fees linked to Colombia’s subsidised healthcare system.
The new entrant joins a market already populated by major international and regional brands such as Betsson, BetPlay, Betano, Stake, Rushbet, Sportium and Codere.
Impact
Mr Yoker’s approval highlights the continued expansion of Colombia’s regulated online betting market, currently viewed as one of the strongest regulatory models in Latin America. During 2026, licensed online operators have already transferred more than COP$253.224bn in exploitation rights to Coljuegos.
The regulator expects total fiscal contributions from the sector to surpass COP$450bn before the end of the year, reinforcing online gaming’s role as a significant funding source for public healthcare programmes.
Beyond the financial impact, Coljuegos once again stressed the importance of consumers playing only on authorised platforms in order to guarantee data protection, prize payments and responsible gambling safeguards.
Future Perspective
The addition of new operators confirms Colombia’s strong appeal for betting companies seeking stable and regulated opportunities in Latin America.
While several regional markets continue debating regulatory frameworks, Colombia keeps expanding its legal ecosystem with a focus on taxation, consumer protection and state supervision. Mr Yoker’s arrival reinforces that trend and signals increasingly intense competition among licensed operators in the country.
