Municipal legal officials are finalising the documentation requested by Banco Provincia to complete the appraisal. Once the valuation is finished, a public auctioneer will be appointed by lottery and the registration process for potential bidders will begin.
The sale represents the final stage of the Casino Complex disposal process after the remainder of the property was sold on 10 June to A Toda Vela Mar S.A., owned by businessman Óscar Merlo, for ARS 4.878 billion.
Under the municipal ordinance authorising the transaction, any qualified investor may participate in the auction, including the purchaser of the rest of the complex. Merlo has already indicated that he may submit a bid for the former theatre.

The redevelopment of the Necochea Casino Complex is one of the most significant urban renewal projects in Buenos Aires Province. The initiative seeks to attract private investment while maintaining casino operations through a strategic partnership with Casino Victoria, the current operator of the Entre RĂos gaming venue.
