Kalshi Launches Midterms Hub for US Elections
United States.- 24 July 2026 www.zonadeazar.com Kalshi has launched Midterms Hub, a new platform bringing together live prediction markets covering the United States legislative and state elections scheduled for November 2026.
The tool displays probabilities derived from the prices of contracts traded by users and allows visitors to follow key Senate, House and gubernatorial races through an interactive nationwide map.
News Details
Midterms Hub displays continuously updated probabilities for individual races based on the prices at which participants buy and sell contracts linked to political outcomes.
Unlike a conventional poll, which records the stated preferences of a sample of voters, Kalshi’s prices represent the expectations of participants willing to assume financial risk on a particular result.
The platform also incorporates polling averages supplied by VoteHub, campaign fundraising information from the Federal Election Commission, historical election results and selected campaign news and analysis. This allows users to compare market signals with more traditional electoral indicators in one place.
Industry Context
Kalshi is positioning the hub as an information resource for voters, journalists, campaigns, policymakers and researchers, as well as customers trading event contracts.
The company said approximately three-quarters of its visitors check current probabilities without entering trades. During 2026, Kalshi also integrated election vote counts and race calls from The Associated Press to strengthen its coverage of US elections.
The launch expands Kalshi’s political product strategy following the introduction of the American Power Index in May. That indicator was designed to track changes in the balance of power between political parties using prediction-market data.
The company’s contracts operate under the oversight of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Kalshi warns that trading involves risk and that participants may lose the money used to open their positions.
Statements
Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour said prediction markets can provide a perspective that is less affected by political polarisation because their probabilities are backed by real money and the collective expectations of market participants.
According to Mansour, Midterms Hub is intended to offer a clearer signal of what the market expects from the elections while complementing polling, campaign and historical information.
Next Steps or Impact
Kalshi will mark the launch with an event in Washington, D.C., featuring political strategists and a live demonstration of the platform.
The company expects activity to increase as the November elections approach. At the time of the announcement, more than US$30 million had already been traded on contracts concerning which party would control the House and Senate in 2026.
The hub strengthens the role of prediction markets as political-monitoring tools, although debate continues over whether prices may sometimes be affected by speculative trading, limited liquidity or participants holding privileged information.
