ChatBet and iSolutions Expand Conversational Betting

Zambia.- 30 July 2026 www.zonadeazar.com ChatBet and iSolutions have entered into a partnership to expand access to artificial-intelligence-powered betting experiences across Africa and other emerging markets.

Operators using the iSolutions platform will be able to integrate ChatBet’s conversational technology, allowing players to discover markets, build bet slips and complete betting journeys through WhatsApp, Telegram and web or app-based chat widgets.

News Details

The integration is intended to reduce operators’ dependence on conventional applications and mobile websites by transferring part of the sportsbook experience to messaging channels already used by customers.

Through written conversations, players will be able to search for events and markets, receive assistance while navigating the betting offer and construct bet slips without manually moving through the sections of a traditional sportsbook interface.

The agreement combines iSolutions’ platform infrastructure and regional operator relationships with ChatBet’s conversational-conversion and transactional-messaging technology.

The companies are already working on an initial operator deployment, with additional launches expected across the iSolutions client network.

Industry Context

ChatBet began operating in Africa through a launch in Zambia with Bola Group. The solution enables customers to request odds and place bets through written messages or WhatsApp voice notes without downloading an application or using a data-intensive interface.

The company has also identified Zimbabwe and Malawi as future expansion markets.

The model responds to the mobile-led characteristics of African betting markets, although individual jurisdictions have distinct regulatory, technological, financial and cultural requirements that demand localised products.

iSolutions is an Italian technology company founded in 1999 and based in Parma. It develops sports-betting platforms, lottery products and monitoring systems for operators and regulators, with operations covering more than 20 countries.

Statements

ChatBet founder and CEO Josh Swerdlow said messaging was already the principal digital interface for consumers in many of the markets covered by the partnership.

He explained that the opportunity was not to force customers into another application, but to enable them to discover markets and transact through conversations they already understood.

iSolutions co-founder and director Filippo Ceci said the company’s strategy was to integrate strong products according to the commercial choices made by its clients.

Ceci described conversational betting as particularly suitable for Africa and other mobile-first markets.

Next Steps or Impact

The initial deployment will test ChatBet’s integration with the iSolutions infrastructure and the ability to turn messaging platforms into an additional acquisition, engagement and transactional channel.

For operators, the partnership could reduce friction during bet construction and improve accessibility in markets where data costs or complicated conventional interfaces create barriers for customers.

Future deployments will need to incorporate identity, geolocation, responsible-gambling and compliance controls appropriate to each jurisdiction. The effective availability of individual functions will remain subject to local licensing and regulatory requirements.
