Robinhood in Talks to Integrate Crypto.com Contracts
United States.- 30 July 2026 www.zonadeazar.com Robinhood Markets is reportedly holding discussions with Crypto.com about adding the cryptocurrency platform’s event contracts to its prediction-markets hub.
The potential partnership would allow Robinhood customers to trade Crypto.com’s binary yes-or-no contracts directly through the brokerage’s application. Discussions remain ongoing, and there is currently no guarantee that a final agreement will be reached.
News Details
Should the agreement proceed, the integration would add products from Crypto.com’s prediction-markets business to the infrastructure Robinhood already uses for contracts covering sport, economics, politics, cryptocurrencies and other real-world events.
Crypto.com launched its OG prediction-markets platform in February 2026. The service is powered by Crypto.com Derivatives North America, a Commodity Futures Trading Commission-registered exchange and clearing house.
Weekly activity within the business reportedly increased approximately fortyfold during the six months following its launch, reflecting growing retail interest in event-based contracts.
Robinhood already sources products from several providers. It initially expanded through Kalshi contracts and subsequently added products supplied by ForecastEx and Rothera, the futures and derivatives exchange operated through its joint venture with Susquehanna International Group.
Industry Context
Adding Crypto.com would strengthen Robinhood’s strategy of working with several exchanges rather than depending on a single supplier for its event-contract offering.
Diversification has become increasingly relevant as relationships between prediction-market businesses develop from distribution partnerships into direct competition. Kalshi continues to supply products to Robinhood, although both companies are also seeking to attract customers within their own ecosystems.
Prediction markets have become an important growth area for Robinhood. Its platform already offers contracts on cryptocurrency prices and other outcomes through instruments generally paying USD 1 when the selected prediction is correct.
The segment is expanding as federal and state authorities continue to disagree over the regulatory treatment of sports-related event contracts. Platforms argue that the products are federally regulated derivatives, while several states consider certain contracts to constitute gambling requiring local licences.
Statements
Robinhood said it would continue partnering with multiple exchanges to provide customers with a broad and reliable prediction marketplace.
The statement confirms a strategy of combining products from different trading venues within a single interface, although Robinhood and Crypto.com have not formally announced an agreement.
Next Steps or Impact
The discussions will need to establish which Crypto.com contracts could be distributed through Robinhood, how transactions would be cleared and settled, and how responsibilities would be divided between the companies.
An agreement would give Crypto.com access to Robinhood’s substantial retail customer base while enabling the brokerage to increase the range and availability of its markets.
It could also reduce Robinhood’s reliance on Kalshi and intensify competition between registered exchanges seeking to become the leading suppliers of event contracts in the United States.
Until the companies issue an official announcement, the potential integration should be treated as an ongoing negotiation rather than a confirmed partnership.
