PAGCOR Extends B2B Accreditation Deadline
Philippines.- 5 August 2026 | www.zonadeazar.com The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation has extended the deadline for certain B2B providers to complete their accreditation process until 30 September 2026.
The measure gives eligible companies additional time to meet regulatory requirements before enforcement action begins against suppliers remaining outside the accreditation system.

The extension was approved by the regulator’s Board of Directors on 16 July and confirmed through a memorandum issued by the Electronic Gaming Licensing Department on 20 July.
It applies exclusively to B2B providers contracted by Gaming System Administrators that submitted their accreditation applications on or before 31 May 2026.
Companies that applied after that date are not covered by the extension.
By late July, only 66 suppliers had completed the accreditation process. Game content providers represented the majority of accredited companies, while other service and support sectors remained less represented.
Industry Context
The regulatory requirements have not been changed. Providers must pay a non-refundable application fee, submit the required documentation and provide a probity assessment report.
They must also complete an ocular inspection, pass testing of their electronic gaming systems and online gaming platforms where applicable, and post the required performance cash deposit.
Companies failing to complete the process will have their systems, platforms, games and gaming equipment decommissioned from 1 October 2026.
The extension responds to delays in obtaining documentation from various government agencies, which affected numerous applicants despite their efforts to comply with the original timetable.

“The decision followed widespread delays in obtaining documentary requirements from various government agencies, creating practical challenges for many suppliers despite their willingness to comply.”
He added:
“Rather than lowering standards, PAGCOR demonstrated regulatory pragmatism. Effective regulation is not measured by how aggressively deadlines are enforced, but by whether compliance can be achieved without unnecessarily disrupting legitimate business activity.”

Providers covered by the extension will have until 30 September to complete all outstanding payments, inspections, testing and documentary requirements.
The measure is intended to maintain compliance standards without immediately disrupting legitimate operations, while preserving controls related to corporate integrity, anti-money laundering safeguards and technology oversight.
