Winvia and Aston Villa to Launch Official Villa Win Prize Draw

United Kingdom.- 5 August 2026 | www.zonadeazar.com Winvia Entertainment has partnered with Aston Villa to develop and operate Villa Win, a new official prize draw platform connected with the Premier League club.

The initiative will offer club-themed prizes and exclusive experiences to supporters, aiming to increase engagement beyond matchdays while creating an additional revenue stream for the organisation.

News Details

Winvia will provide the technology platform, operational infrastructure and compliance oversight required to deliver the prize draws on Aston Villa’s behalf.

The project will use the competition technology behind BOTB, a Winvia-owned brand, and represents the first major B2B deployment of the system.

The company will oversee ongoing technical and operational activities while ensuring that the competition operates in accordance with the United Kingdom’s Voluntary Code of Good Practice for Prize Draw Operators.

Villa Win will initially be available to Aston Villa supporters in the United Kingdom, although both parties have ambitions to expand the initiative internationally.

Industry Context

Prize draws are gaining prominence in the United Kingdom as a tool for strengthening relationships between sporting organisations and their supporter communities.

The model enables clubs to offer experiences, products and prizes connected with their identity while generating additional revenue beyond ticket sales, broadcasting rights and traditional sponsorships.

For Winvia, the agreement also provides an opportunity to extend its technology infrastructure to other clubs and sporting organisations through B2B partnerships.

The company began trading on the London Stock Exchange’s AIM market in November 2025 and expects partner-led deployments to become an important part of its post-IPO strategy.

Statements

Gil Barel, Head of Strategic Partnerships and M&A at Winvia Entertainment, said:

“Aston Villa has a powerful brand and a highly engaged supporter base and has recognised the opportunity for prize draws to bring supporters together in a fun and engaging way.”

“We are pleased to be working with the club to launch a new prize draw competition supported by our technology platform, operational capability and prize draw expertise.”

“We are confident that this model has the potential to scale across other clubs and sports organisations and become an increasingly important part of the group’s long-term growth strategy over time.”

Francesco Calvo, President of Business Operations at Aston Villa, stated:

“It will not only allow us to interact with our supporters in a fun and different way, but any revenues generated can be reinvested in a number of ways, including our many community schemes.”

Next Steps or Impact

Winvia will manage the ongoing operation of Villa Win, while Aston Villa will use the initiative to create additional engagement opportunities for its supporters.

Revenue generated through the platform will contribute to the club’s long-term development and may be reinvested in institutional activities and community programmes.

The project’s performance will also serve as a reference point for the potential expansion of Winvia’s technology across other clubs, competitions and sporting organisations.
