Fraga emphasized that EstrelaBet now positions itself as a tech company focused on digital entertainment. “The digital environment is the best path forward. The transition to a regulated market required adjustments, especially in identity verification processes (KYC). Fraga acknowledged that, initially, the user journey became longer, but it was necessary to ensure responsible gambling. “Today the experience is stable, and our results have been even better than expected, thanks to the joint efforts of our tech team and strategic partners,” he explained.

News for 2025 and brand strategy

Without revealing all the details, Fraga hinted at important announcements to come. One key focus is optimizing website speed and improving content personalization for users. He also highlighted the new institutional campaign “Efeito Estrela” and the brand’s strong presence in sports broadcasts such as the Brasileirão, Paulistão, and European tournaments, particularly through platforms like CazéTV and YouTube.

Combating the illegal market

Fraga was firm in his criticism of unregulated platforms: “Those who chose not to comply with regulation, who refuse to go through this necessary control process, should not be operating.” He celebrated EstrelaBet’s membership in the Brazilian Institute for Responsible Gaming (IBJR) and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to legality. He mentioned they are working with ANATEL, the Ministry of Finance, and the Central Bank to block access to illegal operators, particularly through Pix.
