Brazil.- 31 July 2026 www.zonadeazar.com GAT Events held the principal programme of GAT Official Launch Brasil 2026 at São Paulo’s Jockey Club, marking the organisation’s formal entry into the Brazilian gaming and betting market.

The event brought together government officials, associations, operators, manufacturers, suppliers and investors from Brazil and other countries for discussions covering regulation, legal certainty, integrity and investment opportunities.

News Details

The programme took place in the Luiz Nazareno Hall and followed a welcome dinner organised to encourage networking among industry representatives.

National and international specialists examined the development of Brazil’s regulated market, its principal challenges and the conditions required to transform a legalised sector into a sustainable and investable business environment.

The event also included the formal presentation of the GAT Brasil Ambassadors, a group of industry leaders supporting GAT Events’ arrival in the country and seeking to strengthen dialogue between public authorities and private companies.

Event Agenda

The programme covered the strengthening of regulation and enforcement, the evolution of lotteries, sporting integrity and the development of prediction markets.

Other discussions examined responsible gambling, the convergence of land-based and online gaming and the medium-term prospects for physical casino development in Brazil.

The launch was supported by Pariente Advisory, Gaming Laboratories International, Gamanza, BetConstruct, Pay4Fun and Smart Núcleo. Clarion Gaming’s World Gaming Business participated as Official Media Partner.

Statements

GAT Official Launch Brasil 2026 Chair and Pariente Advisory Founder Alex W. Pariente said Brazil had already demonstrated its ability to establish a regulated market and that the next challenge was making it genuinely investable.

He argued that regulation, enforcement and legal certainty must progress together to strengthen confidence among operators and investors.

GAT Events Founder and CEO José Aníbal Aguirre described the Brazilian launch as the beginning of a long-term strategy. He said the organisation intended to establish a permanent physical and virtual platform for knowledge exchange, partnership development and business generation.

Aguirre added that the initiative would continue expanding with an emphasis on training, analysis, education and responsible gambling.

Latin American Responsible Gambling Congress

GAT Events used the launch to announce the first Latin American Responsible Gambling Congress, scheduled for 20 and 21 October 2027 as part of GAT Brasil 2027.

The congress will be organised in partnership with Argentina’s Association of State Lotteries, Pools and Casinos (ALEA) and is expected to bring together regulatory authorities from across the region.

The initiative will encourage the sharing of good practices covering regulation, supervision, player protection and efforts against the illegal market. It also aims to establish Brazil as a leading regional forum for public-policy discussions concerning gaming and betting.

Next Steps or Impact

GAT Events’ arrival expands the calendar of professional gatherings available to Brazil’s gaming industry and creates another platform for dialogue among operators, suppliers, regulators and investors.

Confirmation of the 2027 congress also demonstrates the growing importance of responsible gambling within the regional agenda as Latin American markets adopt increasingly structured regulatory frameworks.

For GAT Events, the launch represents the beginning of a permanent presence in Brazil. For the domestic industry, it adds a new forum for training, networking and institutional discussion concerning the regulated market’s development.
