BoaBet grows poker revenue 150% with WePlay and EvenBet

Malta.- 31 July 2026 www.zonadeazar.com BoaBet has reported a 150% increase in poker rake revenue after introducing a managed infrastructure model powered by EvenBet Gaming technology and operated by WePlay Network.

The structure enabled the casino and sportsbook operator to add a complete poker vertical without recruiting additional employees or establishing specialist teams for liquidity, tournaments, support, fraud prevention and table management.

News Details

BoaBet, which had previously focused on casino and sports betting, initially hesitated to launch poker because of the operational complexity involved.

Its concerns included recruiting a dedicated poker manager, creating a specialist support desk, controlling fraud and continually adjusting tournament structures.

WePlay Network proposed a plug-and-play model under which it would manage shared liquidity, matchmaking, player ecology, anti-fraud procedures and overall table health.

EvenBet Gaming supplied the core technology, giving BoaBet customers immediate access to a shared network lobby offering guaranteed tournaments, competitive rakeback and an established player pool.

Operating Results

Following the integration, BoaBet’s active player base increased by almost 20% and continued to grow steadily.

Average monthly rake rose from approximately USD 38,000 to USD 60,000 within several months. Peak concurrency and overall table activity also improved.

BoaBet said its accumulated rake growth reached 150%, while operational headcount remained unchanged. The managed service also handled tournament structures and ticket distribution for the operator’s customer-loyalty campaigns.

Industry Context

One of the principal challenges in online poker is maintaining a sustainable balance between recreational and professional players. A high concentration of experienced users can reduce enjoyment and retention among casino customers entering the vertical.

WePlay said approximately 80% of its network traffic is casino-driven, while 90% of network revenue comes from cash games.

The network uses high-variance game structures, real-time matchmaking controls and AI-supported anti-fraud tools to protect its player ecology. The objective is to preserve an accessible environment for recreational customers and limit abusive behaviour.

Statements

BoaBet Head of Poker Antonio La Vigna said the most important change was the ability to operate the new vertical without internal crises, urgent liquidity issues or additional recruitment.

WePlay Network CEO Gasper Janezic argued that operators do not need to build an internal poker department when a specialist partner can manage the complete lifecycle of the product.

EvenBet Gaming CEO Dmitry Starostenkov said the case demonstrated that a brand does not require an existing poker-native audience to achieve commercial results through access to a managed shared network.

Next Steps or Impact

The case positions managed poker as a possible tool for improving retention, diversifying revenue and increasing the value of casino customers without creating an independent operational structure.

For operators, the model reduces traditional entry barriers, although performance will depend on shared liquidity quality, player protection, technical stability and the provider’s ability to manage risk.

The figures were presented in promoted content and relate specifically to BoaBet’s experience. They should not be interpreted as guaranteeing equivalent growth for other operators.
