Playson Appoints Kateryna Oliinyk as CFO
Malta.- April 24, 2026 www.zonadeazar.com Playson, a digital entertainment supplier, has promoted Kateryna Oliinyk to Chief Financial Officer (CFO), strengthening its financial leadership as the company enters a new phase of expansion.
Kateryna brings more than a decade of experience in international iGaming and professional services, with a strong track record in financial governance, regulatory compliance, and multi-jurisdictional management.
Since joining Playson in 2021, she has held several senior finance roles, most recently serving as Deputy CFO. During this time, she played a key role in strengthening financial controls, improving reporting processes, and supporting the company’s sustained growth across regulated markets. Her promotion reflects both her impact and the company’s commitment to developing internal talent.
Prior to Playson, Kateryna worked in audit at Ernst & Young, where she gained expertise in IFRS reporting, risk assessment, and compliance across various industries.
In her new role, she will lead Playson’s finance function, focusing on team leadership, operational excellence, and strategic alignment. Her responsibilities include financial reporting, management accounting, treasury and cash flow management, as well as tax planning and compliance. She will also maintain relationships with auditors, financial institutions, and corporate service providers.
A key priority will be driving continuous improvement of financial systems, controls, and processes, including automation, standardisation, and enhanced reporting efficiency.
Kateryna will also play a central role in financial planning and strategic initiatives such as budgeting, forecasting, risk assessment, and financial modelling to support long-term objectives. She will be instrumental in supporting expansion into new markets, including Latin America, by establishing robust accounting frameworks and coordinating with local partners, banks, and regulators.
